About

I have attained a BA Honours degree in Dance after four years of training at Performing Arts Studio Scotland based in Edinburgh. I am trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, commercial, body conditioning and stretch classes.

Alongside my degree I have taught dance to a range of ages in different establishments across Scotland. I began my own business after returning from teaching dance in Portugal in my home town where I began classes teaching beginners Jazz to adults. I have brought dance into many primary and high schools for Active Schools across Dumfries & Galloway, Aberdeen & Edinburgh across over 50 establishments building my experience with children and adolescents.

In 2019 I decided to further my studies in human health to gain a Masters degree in Public Health & Health Promotion. Alongside my Msc I began furthering my experincing working with a range of people across Aberdeen in many leisure centres, dance schools, education establishments and community based organisations where I aspired to bring dance to all.

My love for performing has led me to perform on stages such as The Festival & Kings Theatre in Edinburgh. My most recent performing opportunity was inside The Scottish Gallery of Modern Art in 2018 where I was showcased as both dancer and model for an international fashion exhibition. I have also toured Scotland managing Taking Flight Dance Company performing for the younger generation in schools across the border as I studied for my dance degree.

I aspire to tie dance and health together helping people find balance in their life through forms of exercise that they truly enjoy and benefit from long term. I believe in individualism and the allowing of freedom, although I teach technique and form I also wish for people to leave my classes feeling like they have connected with themselves and stepped outside of their comfort zone freeing their mind. I can't wait to dance with you.
